A FRUITFUL RAIN
(In Remembrance of the five little Amish children from Paradise PA)
Naomi:
A Fruitful Rain came gently calling,
One brisk autumn morning, to a small Amish town;
To claim five little souls in a heavenly harvest,
As their angels watched knowing forgiveness would abound:
Anna Mae:
A Fruitful Rain began gently falling,
Like tiny little teardrops ever so softly from heaven above;
Each drop filled with grace and sovereign mercy,
The beautiful mist of Gods endless , unconditional Love:
Marion:
A Fruitful Rain began gently falling,
Upon the five empty dresses left hanging out to dry;
A rain that would heal and nourish our wounded spirits,
Reminding us of your laughter and joy of yesterday’s gone by:
Mary liz:
A Fruitful Rain came gently calling,
Amid dandelions of yellow that paints the rolling hills;
Over the wind swept fields of childhood innocence,
In the bittersweet whisper’s of a cool autumn chill:
Lina:
A Fruitful Rain came gently falling,
Upon your little schoolhouse filled with unimaginable fear;
But these five empty dress’s are to forever remind us,
Of a better home that is waiting, not filled with human tears:
