Praying for Time; by George Michael

A song about the greed of man, his thirst for war,violence and the breakdown of society to such a degree that God himself doesn't know what to do with us any more. The lyrics are as relevant today as at any time in history.

I always liked the lyric in this song,"God stopped keeping score" because there's something there that speaks of his cross. Sometimes to express love is hard when there is so much to hate in this world. God's children being abused, abandoned and judged because of religious prejudice and self righteousness. Have we forgotten that being human is not a crime?

Jesus did not judge anyone guilty where love was concerned. He spoke of a kingdom where the very essence of God flowed within the human spirit and heart. That is the message that makes us whole. The message that says to place other's ahead of yourself is the framework that sustains all life.

Being human means that we all have faults and we're not always perfect. Listen, God created us this way. I think He knew this about us when He placed us within time yet placed inside our spirit the DNA of the eternal.

God hasn't forgotten us, we have forgotten Him because we focus more on time than the eternal. Live for God and discover that it isn't about "Praying for Time," but experiencing the eternal in the love that is truly Gods prayer towards us.
